Kayak is great. Hot tub and heated pool. Plenty of eateries. Even a beach is not that far away. Camper,cabins and tent sites. Low tide boat launch not so good. kayaks barely get out during low tide. Fishing i haven't been lucky yet.
We were there during Labor Day weekend and there were lots of things planned for both children and adults. The food truck was great, the new music venue is a nice addition and all of the staff were very welcoming and helpful.
If you are going to have a couple of drinks not the place to go put us in a site that you have to get back onto public road to visit aer friends in other site's because they blocked off access to get back to main road to park but if you have a golf cart you can do what ever you want one way and speed don't apply ripped off my antenna.backing in to my site because trees are to low and can't see what you are doing because blocked entrance, I only let you back in one way with loose gravel in 4 wheel drive.
