A wonderful park. Good sites. Good hikes. Helpful Rangers.
Great out of the way park, seldom crowded, great hiking, primitive camping, a few good full service sites.
Great place for kids and adults. Playgrounds, campsites, fishing, archery range. Bring the kayak our the boat. Boat ramp near by.
Really peaceful place on Kentucky Lake. Took the 3 Mile trail and did some fishing. While there wasn't much on the trail, it was really nicely surfaced with mostly small rocks and a lot of moss. The whole trail is nicely shaded. Fishing on one of the docks was relaxing. It was a Saturday afternoon, yet there were still only a few other people there with my group. Overall, worth an hour or two drive to check out!
