This mountain lodge cabin rental is based in the town of La Porte in Plumas County, Northern California, and is the ideal retreat for a large group of friends, weddings, corporate getaways, and family reunions. The luxury lodge has a rustic charm similar to that of the days of the Gold Rush in the mid-19th century and comes with 21 rooms that can accommodate a total of 52 guests. All the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable while featuring superb views of the mountains and offering a selection of bed combinations. The top floor has nine bedrooms including a master suite that comes with a king-size bed and full-size sofa bed while five bedrooms come queen-size beds. Two other bedrooms come with full beds and the last room features a queen-size bed and a full bed. There are 12 rooms on the second floor with three large rooms coming with king-size beds, one with a queen-size bed, seven with full-size beds, and one with a full-size bed and bunk beds. The lodge tavern is an incredible Old West-style bar that features a mahogany bar that was relocated from San Francisco in 1906 as well as bar stools and an array of drinks making it the ideal place to unwind after a day’s activities. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen is a large, modern space where guests can cook for large groups while having access to an array of cooking appliances and utensils. The den is a fun hangout area that comes with a television that is perfect for sports and movies as well as two stone fireplaces that keep the communal areas warm and cozy year round. Outside, guests can enjoy the mountain views from the deck while socializing over a barbecue meal from the outdoor grill and a few cold drinks. Glampers can end the day in style by soaking in the cedar hot tub and rejuvenating mind, body, and soul for the next day’s activities. The lodge maintains the romantic and historic decor of a traditional lodge during the Gold Rush era and features an Old West-style tavern with a mahogany bar that was relocated from San Francisco in 1906. There are two stone fireplaces that keep the communal areas warm and cozy throughout the cooler months while the den comes with a television and free Wi-Fi. Guests have access to a large gourmet kitchen and deck that overlooks the valley for spectacular views.
