Beautiful area, huge open places to scope wildlife if you get the idea.
Quiet and peaceful until the squirrels get up. Gorgeous piece of woods.
Great place for hiking, snowshoeing, camping. Plenty of trails. A primitive camping area (requires a permit in season) has a parking area close -by. Not accessible in winter. Fellows Hill is a nice loop trail through the forest and the Onondaga (NCT) goes right through it for longer distance hiking and backpacking.
