Remote park. Must make camping reservation 2-3 days in advance. No staff on weekends. Credit card machine for self camping registration is broken. Hard to tell what each site costs when at the sites. Bugs. Poison ivy (no warning signs). Ticks. Push button shower. Sign says it takes 5-10 minutes for shower water to heat when warm out, 15-20 when cold. Water stays on for several seconds, then it must be pushed again. Lake is small but pretty. Gorgeous cottonwood trees. A few short trails. I won’t hurry to return.
