McKinney Campground

Beautiful campground definitely returnig

Great place to camp with the family . Water hook up clean facilities. Friendly staff water and electric hook ups .

Just spent 4 nights and we love this campground. However, I would like to make 2 suggestions. Please place trash cans in the campgound. It is a long way to the front to the dumpsters. You have recyle cans at bathhouse but no trash cans. Also please put up a gate code so entry can be made after 10pm. It is imposible to attend a night Braves game and make it back before the gate locks.

This campground was all about the lake and outdoors. We had a beautiful lake view site! We only stayed one night as we were enroute to summer home up north.

McKinney is a beautiful and well maintained camp ground. The easiest way to book a spot it to just call and reserve a camp site. They have everything you would need for tent or RV camping. There are some spots that have a gorgeous view of the lake. To learn what spot you would like to reserve in future, you can go during the day, ask for a map and ask to just take a quick drive around and look at all the spots. I took notes on the map to remind my self which spots I would prefer. While staying I always get to see lots wonderful birds and wildlife.
