Group camp site is spacious, enough car or camper parking, enough picnic tables, walking, hiking trails etc..
Unfortunately The government was shut down so there were limited services. The dump station head overflowed and there was no one there to fix it, and the spaces where I parked my 25 ft RV or not exactly the best as times spaces were very steep and actually scraped my bumper on one of them and had to go to another site. He'll be careful about the sites that you reserve, and be prepared or somewhat of an uneven paved parking space. However it is the Shenandoah mountains and some of the inconveniences need to be expected. I would try to get my space at Big Meadows if possible and they have larger…
