Macedonia Brook State Park

Nice alternative to overcrowded ass Kent falls and bulls bridge. Hardly any people. Clean park, well marked trails. Downside is that there is no cell signal so make sure you have a map. Will return to this park. Edit: have gone through all the trails now. Beware of the blue trail if you're not an experienced hiker or in decent shape. Love love love this park. There are also bears here and plenty of them. I had to sneak past three of them, got off the trail to find that someone was having a barbecue 🤦🏾‍♀️ i probably would not recommend camping.

Beautiful place for a hike. Also, the drive through the area of Kent makes you feel like you're in Ireland.

Best to do ridge line trail counter clockwise. Good for camping. Less traffic than trails in Kent and views are solid. Be prepared for some steeper descents and drops if you embark on the blue trail. I generally park at the first outhouse lot and start the trail from there as I prefer descending down the rocky section of summit which features a couple higher drops as opposed to trying to climb up them.
