Lydia Mountain Lodge & Log Cabins

I stayed at Second Wind Cabin during my stay at Lydia Mountain Lodge & Log Cabins. If you are looking for a place that feels truly remote without the hassle of traditional camping, this is it. While my cabin didn't have a long-range mountain view, it felt beautifully "nestled" in the woods. There is a small grassy clearing around the cabin so the forest doesn't feel like it’s pressing in, but you cannot see another soul or cabin in any direction. Stayed at the Lodge for a wedding and wow what a great experience. The Lodge was beautiful, our room was very clean and the theme was fun. The restaurant was delicious with lovely views, but the best thing was those who work there. Everyone we encountered in both the restaurant and the Lodge was so friendly. We will definitely return. The one thing to know about is the Lodge is self check in and finding someone to help with any issue can in itself be an issue so just be aware of that. Aside from that what a great get away spot. Your stress will melt away almost instantly!

We had the best time staying here!!! loved the restaurant, josh & caydence (sp?). we will be back again. can’t recommend the staff and lodging enough. i was pregnant, cranky, sweaty upon arrival- josh got us in a little early so i could cool off and decompress after an 8 hour drive. caydence made my parents so happy and recognized my obsession with diet pepsi. can’t recommend this place enough. also, biscuits and gravy - oh my god!!!!!!!

There were beautiful views a cute dog named jumper and cats roaming around it was beautiful and I definitely recommend it.
