Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River

Took our 45' toy hauler and our site was easy to get in to. Very nice campground along the Shenandoah River with lots to do. We already booked a second trip for this year and may book a third.

- We rolled into Luray RV Resort in April, which, if you're keeping score at home, is "Long Before the Summer Crazy." A genius move, if I do say so myself. I imagine during peak season, this place is less an RV resort and more a meticulously planned, family-fun-fueled mosh pit. - Seriously, they've got activities. Not just "here's a horseshoe pit," but a full-blown arsenal of kid-distracting amenities: a small water park (we assume it exists, we saw the website, and there was water), a BMX course (for practicing your emergency room visits), and an RC car course (for training the next genera…

We had a great visit! Loved the location and the cabin. We loved that we could take our fur baby. She enjoyed her stay as well.

Everything about my stay was great, rented one of the cottages while in town for the weekend. Convenient location and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Was one of the best vacation spots ever. It was beautiful views and there was so much to do. We road around on golf carts visited a bunch of cool spots around the river and ponds. We went fishing, minor chatching, fire, smores, skate park, play ground, also 5 mins from the caverns. It was awesome, we will be back for summer fun.
