Lums Pond State Park Campground Entrance.

We stayed at Lums Pond State Park from July 6–13, 2025, and really enjoyed our time there. We were in Site 11, an asphalt back-in site with full hookups and a picnic table. The site was spacious and well laid out, easily accommodating our 5th wheel and car parked in front, with an additional parking area to the side for our truck. The extra space made it very comfortable and convenient during our stay. Really nice campground. All RV sites have full hookup. Sites are spread out. Access to lake.

Good campground, only one in New Castle county private or state park. Could use more activities like basketball courts or something on the camping side. They have more than enough room for more activities, but the sites are huge and mostly all shaded. There is currently construction for many new cabins but wish they were making more camping spots for campers since it's always booked out almost a year ahead. Still very good and close to home.

Great place for year round camping

Really nice state park. Can handle campers of various sizes. Wide one way traffic roads to your site. Bathhouse and restrooms clean. Laundry room next to camp store. Wide open areas for kids to play.
