A nice place to camp.
Spent a weekend at LRVC. First time there, not my first time to the area. We stayed in cabin 9. Right across from the bathrooms. Bathrooms were fine. Basic campground bathrooms. Few shower stalls, few toilet stalls, several sinks, soap etc. Clean. Cabin was so cute. The mattresses are not my favorite. First night was difficult, 2nd night we took the bunk bed mattresses and put them under the big mattress. MUCH BETTER. but will be bringing a foam mattress thing for next time, as well. Cabin 9 is a 1 room rustic. Had a small 3 drawer dresser, and several shelves around the inside. Also a…
A long time ago I was camping at Lost River and had a bear incident they tore apart my entire campsite and I never went back
Be very cautious with this campground if you have a trailer. I have a 25’ Toy hauler 8’ wide with a 1 ton crew cab pulling it, the roads to the sites were pretty tight and the sight they had us on I couldn’t back on because of how narrow the road is. We went back out to the front desk and they wouldn’t refund us our money, informing us that ”no one else has had a problem getting in”…lol ouch. thats fine my ego can take the hit. We left and drove down the road to Maple Haven, fortunately they were able to squeeze us in, they told me they just had someone ahead of us come in for the same reason.
