Lost Hills KOA Journey

We’ve stayed here a couple of times simply because it’s a good stopping point for us on the way home. It’s an OK park. The main road around the park is paved, but each of the campsites is gravel. Nice long pull throughs. Pool definitely gives me the ick. If you stay here, I must warn you… the manager lives in a house behind the main office. He drives through the park to get to his house and uses the road like a speed track. He flew past me so fast while I was walking my dog. I was in shock. What’s even worse is that the kids’ playground is literally right next to the road, and there’s no fence…

Great RV park with a great staff and we'll prepared sites.

Unkempt and dirty. Garbage laying around and no staff clean up. Extension cord running through out site going into a drain??? They even have some RVs sitting with tarps on their leaky roofs. We won't go back.

We needed a place with hook ups and propane for our virgin voyage with the new-to-us travel trailer. The staff were super helpful when we needed a refill of propane or when I had other questions. The restrooms were clean and easy to access. The little dog park was perfect to let my furry friends get some off-leash time. We don't have kids but that playground was so nostalgic! I haven't seen a slide like that since I was probably 11 or so. Location was good overall, although a little noisy because there are so many truck stops right at that exit.
