Log Cabin Motel

I cannot say enough wonderful words about this adorable historic place!! Cozy & comfy cabin!! We were placed in the original 1929 first built cabin!!! Loved everything about it! The atmosphere was magical! The owner was so sweet & gave us a detailed map of the mountain drive…amazing!! Then dinner at HalfMoon Lodge! You have to experience the sunset on the beautiful picturesque lake!! Local shops & bakeries are amazing!!Friendliest people in Pinedale, WY! We will be back!!

We had a wonderful two weeks staying here in September. Sofia, Forest and staff made us feel we were family. They took a genuine interest in making sure we enjoyed all the local amenities and advised us on hikes in the Wind Rivers. The cabin was idyllic, had everything we needed and recently refurbished without losing its 1920’s charm. We will return! Thank you Sophia, Forrest and staff and wishing you a successful 2026

I love spending time at the Log Cabin Motel in Pinedale. Everything you need in town is literally within walking distance; restaurants, shopping, etc. I have stayed in different cabins through the years and can honestly say that the beds are always so comfortable, the cabins are clean and the location is quiet. It is my go to in Pinedale. Very reasonable rates also. Never disappoints!

The Log Cabin Motel was a great place for my son and I to stay with two dogs while we visited Pinedale to fish and generally hang out as we met up halfway. The cabin we stayed in was 2 rooms, was spacious even with the dogs, very, very clean and I really liked the location. The dog care bag with linen coverings was perfect. Kudos to the owners/managers for understanding that our pets are most likely going to want to sleep on the bed there with us, like they would at home. I stayed in Cabin #18, offsite a couple of blocks from the other cabins of Log Cabin Motel. I loved it, because it was a whole house for just a few more dollars than a motel room. Marlon met me at check-in and showed me around. The historic aspect was very interesting, as the cabins were built in 1929. Kitchen with everything you might need for cooking, nice large living room area. 1000 square feet with lots of character and charm.
