Little River Campground

Great location very quite and clean bathroom and showers

Best campground in Ft. Payne

We initially made reservations for a tent site which turned out to be kinda close to the road, the host easily switched us to a site that was quieter. Nice place to stage a visit to the Canyon. Would recommend and return!

Nice little campground tucked in the trees. Spotless bath house, small fenced dog park, clubhouse with stoves and trails through the woods. Close proximity to Little River Canyon and DeSoto State Park. Very friendly and welcoming staff

This is not a low rating. This is just an experience rating relative to my lifestyle. I really enjoyed the fact that it was easy to find and excellent directions and the host was quite gracious . In addition I can add that the site remodeling is really great. Loved what is going on at the newly renovated shower house. All that said, I stopped there just for a travel night and noted that it isn't a place I would want to spend 3 or 4 days at just camping unless maybe I was hiking at some nearby state parks and preserves.
