Lehigh Gorge Campground

This campground receives our 5 stars for a great customer experience and a perfect location to plan our biking trip. I drove down to Jim Thorpe with 1 bike in our van, took 30-40 min, parked the vehicle in a parking lot for $8/day, took a shuttle for under $30 to White Haven and biked back up to the campground. Next, three of us biked downhill to White Haven and 25 miles +/- all the way down the river and drove back up. Amazing ride! Also, the interstate is quite near, which is both a pro and a con.

Phenomenal. Absolutely must stop in, home away from home/weekend retreat. 5 stars all around the board. And the town is very cozy!

Have had a trailer there since '98. New pool this year. Friendly people and placed.

I've been a full time traveler in my Motorhome for many years, so when I say this is the best place I've ever stayed, it's with some experience behind the statement. From the moment I pulled in, after hours of driving in rain, winding roads and wind gusts, I was made to feel like family. It was going to drop below freezing overnight, so the water was being turned off to the sites. The owner insisted I take a pull through site, at no extra charge, that was directly adjacent to the laundry and bath house, both of which, by the way we're immaculate!
