Leelanau Pines Campground

It's a nice campground. I prefer campgrounds a little more space between my neighbor and me. It is on the lake has a boat launch which is very nice. Google seems to think this is a hotel so many of the questions they have on here like rooms is irrelevant.

full hook ups are on top of each other. year rounds are within rentals. Patrons are extremely loud when quiet hour. I should not have to come inside to avoid the noise. very rude. it is the yearly folks! negative behavior

Large campground, stacked in like cord wood but the campground is beautiful. The lake, sunrise and sunset are beautiful. Nice swimming area. I loved walking the dogs thru the stand of pines and into the field. Lots of summer activities for the kiddos.

We stayed in a camper and had a great time Great service bathrooms could be cleaner but otherwise really good and super fun.

My husband & I have been camping here since they opened in 1970. Our youngest daughter met her husband at Leelanau Pines. It is by far the nicest campgrounds we have ever visited. The kids love the lake, the creek, the playground, walking on the cool nature trails. It's 15 minutes from Lake Michigan, smack in the middle of Michigan wine country and best of all has NO MOSQUITOS!!! Best times to camp are early May until Mid June for a more open feeling and less campers. August thru October are awesome, too. Summer is wonderful but crowded because everyone loves "The Pines".
