Leatherwood Mountains Cabin Rentals

My cousin and I had the most amazing time on leatherwood mountain! We went trail riding and we got to meet all the locals. The locals like this so much. They invite us es back to the restaurant bar that they have there for dinner and a drink!! I'm telling you their staff is amazing!!! They're like a big family. I cannot wait to go back up to the mountains cuz I'm going straight there. Thank you all for making my cousin and i's vacation even better!!! Y'all were going to get busy because I've told everybody in Wilmington North Carolina about you guys!! Thanks again for such wonderful memories!!

The Retreat -- Easily the most filthy and disgusting Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Layers of dead bugs and mouse poop on every surface. Mysterious Stains and body hair on the bedding. Blood and other stains on the walls, couches, and pillows. At least there is a view. So disappointed in how gross everything is though.

Great location for a family that loves the outdoors. Woods, trails, river, camping or house rental and horseback riding as well. Bring your own if you like. Our four year old rode horseback with Grace leading the horse. She was really great with both the child and the horse. The following day the adults took a fun, relaxing trail ride up the mountain with Grace. She is knowledgeable and personable while making sure everyone stays safe. The "Bunkhouse" was cute and comfortable in western decor and the hot tub is a nice touch.
