Lassen Glampsite (No Electricity)

The place is sweet and very comfortable! The whole ‘neighborhood’ was quiet. Low traffic, hardly saw other people at all. Very nearby many of the area’s geological attractions (Spatter Cones, Subway Cave, Lassen Natl Park).

A fun little getaway with so much to do close by! I loved waking up to the smell of vanilla-pine. The site is quiet, and we watched and heard a large variety of birds in the morning. This was my first time staying in an optionally open-air room like this, and the location was perfect for it, we could just rest and enjoy the view. We appreciated the helpful binder with things to do, safety info, and local restaurants, primarily because we didn't have cell phone reception. We also enjoyed the book selection and playing darts. The drive to the location was beautiful, and we saw a deer.

This place was a real find. Our campsite at Manzanita Lake was cancelled last minute, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The real star of the show was the fact that the open garage door (covered with a screen) gave the living space tons of light and really made for easy communication with the campfire and people hanging around outside

This was a great Glampsite! The Open Air feature made the whole place just wonderful! Like being outside but cleaner!. No power and nothing too fancy, but for our family of 4, plus our 2 dogs, it was just perfect! Would stay again! I also found Linda to be quick to respond to all of our questions leading up to our stay. Thank you!

Very quiet and secluded, the house had everything we needed and more. The bug net is peeling off a lot at the bottom, so watch out for spiders before you put your hands in drawers, etc. Something we didn’t know when we booked was that we needed to bring our own sheets and pillowcases, and we found out when we got check-in instructions about a week before our trip.
