Amazing State park. Absolutely stunning and great Camp sites
La Pine state park was an unexpected last minute stop on our road trip to Eugene. It ended up being our favorite part of the trip and will be a planned stop for a couple days the next time we are in the area. Excellent walking trails, beautiful pine woods, clean camping grounds, and a dog park for the pup to get some exercise. We were only here for a short overnighted but will be staying longer and exploring the next time around.
It's a fine park, with a fenced dog exercise area and really nice cabins. Ours did not have the TV listed on the website, but we weren't there to watch television, so no big deal. The worst feature was the mattresses on the bed and futon, which were very uncomfortable. Not a deal breaker, and way better than sleeping on the ground in a tent, but still could have been better. Overall, an excellent camp location.
Awesome State Park. Campground, RV Spots, Day use, all (economical) fee based. Wi-Fi area. I'm getting fair cell service. Boat ramp area. All easy access.
