Canadians who found our way here on our meandering trip through Maine and eastern Canada about 12 years ago and we still talk about what a lovely charming campground Lamoine is. So pleased to see how well thought of it still is. Would go back in a heartbeat.
On our annual trip to Bar Harbor (fall season) we decided to stay camping here for a few days right on the water edge. Great time hiking, canoeing , campfires and quiet compared to BHarbor. Ellsworth close bye eat at Helen's and check out main drag in town. Nice stop!
