Lakedale Resort

I've been going to Lakedale Resort for fiber arts retreats once or twice a year for a decade. They always take good care of our little group. The service is friendly and personal, the breakfast food is delicious, the landscape and public areas are gorgeous. I've stayed both in the Lodge and in Cabins (where you get access to the hot tub!) and found the beds comfortable and the amenities pleasing. I love using the gas fireplaces for heat and taking advantage of the outdoor spaces like porches and decks when the weather's good. I always look forward to returning.

I've lost track of the number of times I've been at Lakedale. I always go off-season and while the weather is often overcast or rainy in the mornings, it almost always clears off in the afternoon--which encourages quiet activities, reading, and visiting for part of the day and outdoor adventures in the afternoons. I have had so many good memories without leaving the property (trumpeter swans, an owl that hung out in a tree, walks among the campsites) and also farther afield (English Camp, American Camp, Young Hill; the bookstore, the kitchen store, the various restaurants and coffee shops; the…

What a cool place to stay whether you're camping, glamping, RVing, staying at the log, or renting a cabin! We'll definitely coming back.

Had an exceptional trip, with one teeny tiny hiccup. Booked two nights in a yurt with a private hot tub, and it was phenomenal. Beautiful scenery very private beautiful yurt. The shower had good water pressure, beautiful soft towels, very cozy bed. Electric fireplace, electric water kettle and microwave, little fridge, cups plates etc. Kitchen stocked with everything we needed to use the grill and the hot tub was amazing and so secluded. The sound of the rain on the roof, mixed with the view of the TV from the Hottub was spectacular. Would 10/10 stay here again. If I had any complaints about …
