Taylor creek campground had the nicest restrooms of any campground i have ever been in. Great spot for spring birding.
This is a beautiful state park. I rode out here on my motorcycle to check it out. It is family friendly and has a playground area for kids. While I was there, I saw that there were lots of picnic tables and benches. There were families with small children running around having fun. Kids were splashing around in the lake and fishing from the bank. I saw a rack with a bunch of kayaks so I assume they have kayak rentals. There was a boat dock and a nice tackle shop. I also saw that there were nature trails and camp sites. I will be back when I have more time to enjoy it.
