Lake Joy Campground

Great Camp! We took our little camper trailer here and had a blast. We enjoyed boating and swimming in the lake, and their game room provides a lot of entertainment as well. We were here for a four day weekend and are planning on coming again!

LONG READ BUT WORTH IT!!!!! Extremely well cared for, very peaceful campground, that was the case 2 years ago but not today! We've had our camper there in a permant spot for a couple of years and last spring a LARGE oak tree next to it died. As asked, I took a picture and sent it to the owner and was told he'd have it taken care of in the fall that didn't happen! I was told the dad that runs the trimming business had passed and the son was overwhelmed! Is there only 1 trimming business that would cut it? We absolutely loved it. It was a very pleasant stay. Everything that a camping trip should be. Very nice views from our campsite that was right on the lake. At our site, the ground was slanted a bit, and that was a bit bothersome, especially at night, it felt like we were sliding down a bit on our mattres pads 😅 but that is obviously out of the owner's control, and there are plenty of sites to choose from.
