Here at Oak Arches, there are 9 acres of peaceful and private ranch land with plenty to explore. We are a short distance (about 6 miles) from Josie Hideout Bar and Restaurant, Henshaw Lake and Café, the PCT, beautiful Palomar Mountain, and the Santa Ysabel East and West hiking trail system Borrego Springs desert There is a 32‑ft 5th-wheel trailer available, or you can tent camp with amenities. (Off-grid) Water and a small solar system provide some lights at night. The property is completely fenced, allowing your dog to roam freely. Bring your telescope for dark-sky viewing. The trailer has a king size bed and 2 twin mattress that get put on the living room floor to sleep on so it technically sleeps 4 and any one else can cuddle in or xtras can sleep in a tent that you provide.

Another perfect stay, my second time here. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic amenities and a gracious host are all included in this simple, secluded getaway pad w/ a large fire pit, plenty of space, and a bench with a view. Plenty of lighting at night and “off-leash/recall trained” pet friendly (for jumpers, id say the property fencing is not tall enough for escape artists lol)… Tom keeps his things in great condition, complete with two plasma tvs, wifi, and a bed that’s uber comfy! We also enjoyed having the option to grill (as well as utilize a stovetop indoors), microwave/kettle, and of course hot showers are always a plus. Will definitely return!
Tom and his wife were very welcoming and friendly! The RV is stocked with plenty of cooking utensils, coffee, tea, water, etc. and they were so sweet in sharing fresh lemons and oranges with me. My dog had a blast exploring the fenced in property (he’s a beagle, so he loved it) and we had a wonderful evening by the campfire. We will definitely be back again!!! Thank you!
We had a fantastic stay at Oak Arch Acres. The property is beautifully maintained and offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding and getting away from the usual rush. The surroundings are calm and scenic, making it easy to enjoy quiet mornings and restful evenings. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The hosts were welcoming, responsive, and clearly care a lot about the experience they provide. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!
Lovely spot! Quiet, private, clean, well-stocked, and the host Tom was very thoughtful and accommodating. The lodging and outside space has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.
