Lake Haven dba Kamp Indy

We stayed a week to see Indianapolis, it was a great location and we got to see a lot. The park is well maintained and they're not sitting on the laurels they're upgrading their gravel drives to pavement to make it even better. The sites are spacious, they have alternating entry so you're business side to business side but they have a fence between the living sides so there are defined spaces not buddy sites. if you’re booking long term read this first!!!! we stayed at this park for months, here is our honest review including all the pros & cons. the roads leading to the park are horrible which isn’t in the control of the park, however, most potholes that were the size of my tire have been roughly repaired so you no longer have to risk blowing out an axle everyday! other than that, the location is pretty close to any stores/attractions you may be looking for. the semi trucking company next door to the park is quite loud and run down which again is not any fault of this park, just something to be…

This campground is not easy to maneuver for Big Rigs. Our site was level, gravel and had full hookups. The sites are very close together. We were unaware there is nobody present on the weekends, office is closed, fortunately we did not need assistance. The campground is located in what appears to be an industrial zone and most sites are full timers. We travel in a 45’ class A and tow.

The name is deceiving since the lake is almost gone. There is a lot of dog 💩 around the pond grass area. This place not a “Haven” with Karen running the show. Unsafe for kids playing untended, see pictures. Code violation, since there isn’t a lock on the underground waste tank. No water at the dump station to rinse either. The gate doesn’t always close and apparently is left open during the day. I do not recommend.
