Great spot for camping and seeing fall colors. The staff were all amazing. My only complaint (and not the fault of the campground) is the number of invasive species lady bugs that made their way into the camper. As much as I loved the campground, not sure I would stay at this time of year again. I never want to deal with those lady bugs ever again.
This state park is one of our favorites and we visit every year. The staff are outstanding. They are welcoming and ready to help with resources. The bathrooms, including the outhouse by the boat ramp, are super clean. The surrounding area offers lots of choices for paddling and hiking.
My wife and I reserve a campsite here every year. We love kayaking the lake and riding the ATV trails. Park is clean, staff is great. We look forward to visiting again!
