Lake El Reno RV Park

For years, this was a reliable RV stop-off along a trip. This time, it was a frustrating MESS, along with a little bait-and-switch. I pulled into the (East) park and parked as usual and got set up. Then I walked to the office to pay (cash only, first-come-first-served) as usual, but there was a sign at the office saying you must only reserve online. I tried, but my spot was apparently already taken. So I reserved a different spot online and had to unplug everything and move spots. Also, despite the East campground sign advertising $20, I had to pay $33, a 65% UPCHARGE. Worse, nobody eve…

I love this park... I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone... 😁 I returned today 4/16/26 and they no longer take cash and nobody at the office, just a phone number that they didn't respond too... I couldn't get their online to work... There dosent seem to be a option for the primitive sites although they do list a price... Everything looks more expensive.... This has been my halfway point between Indiana and Arizona for years... I have recommended this place to everyone for years... Oh well, life moves on... 👀

Please Read: Been coming here for years. To new and returning people. As of 4/8/26 , without ANY warning, You can no longer pay cash at the office anymore. They went to online payment only now. They raised the prices and are now even charging tax and MULTIPLE fees. Full Hookup sites are $30 a night now, was $25, Electric and water sites are $25 a night, was $20 and they DOUBLED the primitive tent camping from $10 a night to $20 a night now. That's not including the taxes and fees you have to pay now too. So a full hookup site with all the fees is $39.11 a night now. They charged SIX Cr…
