Excellent campground by the lake
The park is really well taken care of in a general sense. I know several of the park workers and they truly value the beauty of the area. Not by any fault of their own, the actual lake is horrible in the summers. Unfortunately it isn't swimming water, unless you want to contract some sort of disease. However, if you want to camp or fish, it's a great spot. They also have some beautiful trails and some great programs. I have never had a negative experience concerning camping here. Sites are all close enough to a restroom, clean, and not noisy. The only reason for the lower rating is the lake …
Looks like a nice place to I go for a picnic and relax. I have been ice fishing which has been good to me but have not been able to enjoy the park during the summer yet.
