Stayed here for the first time with my wife who is new to camping. Loved the platform camping experience, the firewood bucket system, and the bathroom system with the outdoor sinks to wash up easy when needed. We'll be back when the weather is warmer! Showers are big and free. Plenty of potable water all around. It strikes a good balance between wilderness and service. And if you like the park, it's lovely to have a base to come back to right next to it.
Family has been camping at Knoebels each spring and fall for 20 years. Grand children have grown up but still come back each year with us.
Not your average adventure park
Honestly I loved the amusement park, but the campground just doesn't have good amenities compared to the majority of other ones I've been too. There's no electric hookup and there's no toilet paper in they're bathrooms and everything is very tight and cramped which can be normal for campgrounds, but this place does it the worst. The main problem was staff and employees on the campground. We were very nice and asked them if it was possible to leave our camper for a little bit before we moved it so we could enjoy the park for one more day. We made sure to mention that we of course wouldn't stay …
