Keyser Pond Campground

It was clean and the cabin was wonderful.

Ok, so the good news first, the views of the pond in the fall are beautiful. Now the not so great. With the exception of about 12 sites by the office, many of the sites near the pond are really small and are difficult to get into given the narrow road, short length of the sites and the trees and stumps that make maneuvering difficult. Second, Keyser Pond is about 60% “seasonal” residents so expect lots of permanent RVs with decks and add-ons. Stayed for a weekend on sight 47, absolutely loved this campground. all staff are really nice and Eric the owner was very helpful guiding us to our site. bathrooms were nice and clean and the park has plenty of things for children to run around and do. will definitely be returning next season!

This looked like a beautiful campground, with really nice sites and amenities, my family and I were really excited too go! However, 2 days before we were set to go, an email was sent out stating that there was a state wide campfire ban. Obviously the campground has no say over that matter, however I was set to stay in a tent, and cook on top of the fire pit. I called and asked about receiving a refund, and I was told that they would only be able to give me half of my money back, because they said there was still an option of cooking offer charcoal or propane.
