Great campground. Nice place to walk or ride the bike. Newer campground is all full-hook ups with some pull through spaces which makes it nice for larger RVS. Only drawback is bathroom is far away from the campground if you need a 2nd bathroom and have a larger family. Lots to see at Cucumber Falls and can go hiking in the woods. Also, raging rapids. Just a beautiful campground all the way around.
No one was available at the campgrounds “Concessions” were ice, wood, and kindling. No camp store or vending even for just water. The water fountain by my campsite didn’t even work.
Did some late fall tent camping here. The campground is up on a hill above the Youghiogheny River and the adjacent GAP Trail. They have a few cabins and yurts as well. We were riding gravel bikes so each ride ended with a bit of a climb. It was not crowded the weekend we were there as we were near the end of the season. Rangers were friendly and helpful. There are game lands nearby and a couple of Frank Lloyd Wright properties to visit. Not a ton to do at the campground, but there are quite a few options nearby.
