Rangers were nice, bathrooms and showers were clean, everything was nice except there was a group of campers blasting mariachi music, laughing, yelling, screaming, etc. I made a complaint. They lowered the volume for a few hours and turned it back on and went full festive mode right at 9pm when the Rangers went home. I yelled "quiet down" after 10pm (quiet hours) but no luck - lasted another hour. I really wanted to enjoy the sounds of nature and the rain, but all I heard was a group of inconsiderate people having a time of their life in the middle of the loop C.
Wow! CLEAN!!!! Solo camping on Labor Day weekend was amazing! Full, yet quite not a peep after 10pm! Loved the HOT showers. The flush toilets in the restrooms. No cell service, but I brought battery packs to charge my phone so I could listen to some quiet music. Horse shoe pits and a dog park with 2 separate fields to let my dog run. The pond trail was beautiful! And the staff were so friendly! I’m already booking my next trip.
