About Kayhill Farm

Learn more about this land: Urban camping spot with incredible views. Perfect for stealth vans and other smaller vehicles. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate travel trailers or Rvs at this time. Water, power, and sewer available. Property is close to freeways and stores. Also adjacent to nature preserve with moderate hiking trails, wildlife watching, and panoramic views. Site is at the top of a STEEP hill. Some maneuvering on your end will be required to get a vehicle in, but site is level once parked. Hookups are included but cannot be connected continuously. This is an URBAN camp spot meaning there will be some noise from the freeways and the city that's off in the distance. We live in a neighborhood so our neighbors sometimes make noise or have cars coming in and out. Our property is protected by security cameras.

Super clean place. Nice view

My husband and I were looking for a Hipcamp to live out of for a month while we were in San Diego. The night we got there, we fell in love with the 360 views, the comfort of having an electric & water hookup, and the ability to order fresh eggs. We thought this was going to be a favorite spot. I quickly started getting messages asking about whose car was on property (even though I had 4 people & 2 cars on my res), asking my dog to be on leash (even though he was on a secured longer leash), etc. My point being, there was absolutely no p…

Convent in terms of proximity to downtown San Diego and a great price for the area.
