K River Campground

Not at all what it said online, couldnt go kayaking, fishing, or do a fire like we went for fun but got suck inside instead

Honestly just beyond disappointed we traveled 6 hours to go here. The Woman who checked us in was sweet and respectful. Our first night though was cold and windy. Our first suppose to be full day here we couldn't do anything. It was beyond windy and cold as hell so we couldn't do a fire, couldn't fish, hike or do anything. So we just left at 2. we're not the type of people to stay in and do nothing. The room was really cute but hard to get warm the first night. No ATV rentals like it said online. This was by far one of the best and most relaxing weekend getaway’s my fiancé and I have ever been on! ! The owner and employees do an incredible job making sure all visitors have the best stay! We plan to make this a regular trip! Spring is a perfect time of year to visit K River! ***Please remember the owner, herself, cannot control the weather. Somebody left a bad review about weather… which is insane. (That’s a you problem bud, for not checking the weather.)

Such a fun trip with amazing friends! We stayed in Cabin 5 - mattress wasn't super comfortable, but worked out for the day we were there! Everyone was really nice! Cabin was cute. We didn't cook in it, but had a small stove. Loved having the fridge. Lots of sleeping areas! The rivers / creeks were so pretty! Did a fire with smores - great time!
