Jellystone Park West Georgia

The roads around the sites are busted up and the nicer site that I had was on an incline. So much so, that I felt like I needed to pull out my chocks. Do not stay here. Its my second time. The first time, the electrical pole was dead. Pain in the butt.

The ranger cabin was exactly what we needed for lodging but we were disappointed the gem mining and gift shop wasn’t open on Monday.

Update: (end of full day here - saturday) Last night there were trains going right by constantly! All night long. And at the very early morning hours there were 4-5 back to back trains 🤯 I didn't get a full hour of sleep. It was seriously awful. Why haven't I read this anywhere?! We did some exploring today. Went down to the RV park where the brand new water park (?) is to see about the daily activity. The lady in the store told us we should have gotten something at check in about activities, etc. We did not. Come to find out the activities are held up near the tent sites. We went in there an…

Very nice place with a lot for kids to do

Oh my goodness. I cannot say how much we LOVED visiting. We cannot wait to come back when the little water parks has its grand opening. We stayed in a BEAUTIFUL Stone Mountain cabin. We loved that we could bring our two dogs (who actually enjoyed the trip away from home as much as we did). We also loved that there were family activities every hour. It was so quiet and peaceful. And I loved tgat I could see my kids playing from our room while I got food ready as the jump pad and rec center were right in front of us. We loved getting to talk to other families and seeing all the kids playing. I …
