Never been before. Didn't disappoint. Enjoyed a quite family hike to the headwaters.
This is Minnesota's premier state park, with many types of facilities for many different tastes. Good hiking and biking trails, the ability to rent boats and bikes means that most anyone can find a trail that suits them. The beach is good, not fantastic, but good. Be sure to visit the fire tower to get a birds eye view of the park. There is a wide variety of accommodations, from campgrounds to full hotel like suites, but this park gets extremely busy, so plan well in advance.
