Indian Lake State Park Campground

What a great place to stay. Best sleep I got in weeks!

Well kept. Definitely want to double check your reservations if you are coming in during the off season. Decent beach for lake swimming and channels and shoreline to fish. All within walking distance of the camping area. Our site was great except for the beer cans we found in the fire pit. That's not the fault of the campground though. There's a little shop a mile down the road called Winner's for firewood and other necessities. Laundry, showers, and restrooms on site. Lots of playgrounds and the campers all seemed to be mindful of kiddos on bikes and scooters. We will return.

I went to the maple festival by myself. I was warming up near the heater they had listening to the music. Just a heads up if you're a man don't go alone bc I got profiled as a creep and the cops got called just bc I was by myself. All i was doing is waiting for the sun to warm everything bc I rode a bike there and was going to work after.
