The lake is full of trout and you get FREE access to our kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, swim raft and canoes! It also boasts 20 plus miles of private hiking and biking trails if swimming or fishing isn't your thing! Or, if you would rather ride you can rent one of our electric Polaris Rangers and cruise our trails in silence, sneaking up on all the wildlife here! This particular site is creekside so you get the added benefit of listening to the crick as you take a snooze or wading and playing in the crick's sandy bottoms on a hot afternoon! Located just a few miles from the St. Croix River and very close to local ski hills, water parks and restaurants, it gives you that UP North feeling just 45 minutes from the Twin Cities! Check in 4pm, check out 11am. Early check in at 1pm available when booking. The Hansen's and Johnson's purchased Big Rock Creek in 2018 for their love of the outdoors and interest in getting families back to experiencing "good old fashioned family fun"! 980 acres! Private Trout lake for fly fishing, 26 miles of hiking and biking trails, scenic views, swimming raft, event venue. Hiking, biking, canoeing, water sports, fishing, Ranger rental, pontoon rental on the St. Croix River. Wine tasting at local wineries and so much more!
