It's nice campground located on the north side of payson. Nice shaded spots with picnic tables and fire pits. Friendly yet non intrusive staff. It would get five stars if their showers still worked.But the forest service decided it was too expensive to repair them. 37 was my site. Potable water & restrooms 100 steps away. An elk was standing by the camp hosts trailer so still that I thought she was a statue until I drove by it!
Its a very pretty & clean campground with great trees & walkways.
ok for a day visit not really much of a campy spot but okay for having a picnic and such!
