Stayed 4 months, and coming back next winter. We had bad experience last year at a different place. Homestead is well managed and clean. Met a-lot of friendly people there.
Managers, including the Host Managers are so nice, friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. Laundry room is great. Pool is great...though its winter I've only used it once. The Community Room is huge and inviting. Everyone is friendly. Perfect location for me!
Absolutely gorgeous place! Huge dog park, free dog wash, stocked pond with multiple places to sit and enjoy in the shade, spotless bathrooms. Camp host Kevin was super warm, friendly, and helpful!
Such a clean, cozy campground tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The sites are large with plenty of space. In the heart of the Fowl River area, very close to Dauphin Island and even closer to Mobile Bay- this spot is a paradise for bird watchers. I was able to observe broad winged hawks, summer tanagers, pine warblers, red-eyed vireos, crested fly catchers & more from the comfort of the saltwater pool. The perfect place for rest & relaxation!
We really enjoyed our stay at Homestead. The camp hosts were both amazing and so very friendly. The sites were large and well spaced a part. We will definitely stay here again when back in the area.
