5 dollar day use charge. Nice little spot, beautiful views access to outhouse and picnic tables. No dock but access to the water front.
We took our Scouting America Troop to Holter lake last weekend. Even though the water wasn't turned on yet, they had the pit toilets available for us. We were on the backside of the campground and had a heard of Mule deer wandering around. We also had the opportunity to see hawks, ducks, plenty of fish and incredible views.
The best place on earth. Love Holter! BUT the campground could use mowing most of the time....still... Great place! We launch our boat in the spring from log gulch. It is extremely busy ramp. I feel the campground attendant should pay more attention to dogs off leashes, unmowed grass. All in all.... Holter Lake is a slice of heaven in a very busy world. I look forward to it every weekend. ( when possible).
