Had a blast with family and friends for a few days. Relaxing and enjoyed the relaxation. Would recommend
$5 entry fee for visitors ages 4-65, BUT the processing fee for a credit card is $12! I paid $32 for 2 adults and 2 children ages 9 and 7. We spent 4 hours there. Definitely some fine print that needed to be read somewhere.
In response to the negative reviews, i’m defending HLC. My husband and I are in our 70s now, but we’ve been here for 8 years as seasonal campers. They have rules to maintain the campground as best they can. I think they go ABOVE and BEYOND to keep this place clean! IF you happen to find the bathroom/shower area full of disgust, let them know! They will fix it! There are disrespectful people everywhere you go. They have RULES to keep the campground clean and safe! Don’t give one bad apple to spoil the whole bunch! We are spending our twilight years and have loved every 8 of them!
Nice place shady works from a few of the staff and don’t buy fire wood from them
