The ground is level enough in several spots that finding a flat pitch for a tent or a small rig won't be a struggle at all. You're going to love the way the morning mist sits over the land before the sun burns it off. It’s the kind of place where you’ll actually hear the wind in the trees instead of highway traffic. If you're looking for a spot that feels 'deep' in nature but is still manageable to get to, this is going to be your go-to weekend escape
We usually stay at the big state parks, but we were tired of being 10 feet away from our neighbors. This site was a breath of fresh air. It was spotless when we arrived. No trash, no leftover ash in the pit, just pristine woods. For the price, you get way more privacy and a much better view than any crowded campground.
I’ve stayed at a lot of Hipcamps, and this one is special. Total silence except for the wind and the birds. The host has done a great job of keeping the site feeling wild and 'off-grid' while still making it easy to find. I brought my dog and he loved having the space to explore. If you’re looking to actually get away from people and just sit by a fire in peace, this is the spot. I'm honestly hesitant to leave a review because I want to keep this place a secret for my next solo trip!
