Hickory Hill CampGround

This is a long story but will give context to the whole experience. I booked a spot at this campground for one night because it was halfway between my house and chicago. The campground is mostly permanent spots with only a handful or so of visiting sites. It was $50 a night for electric and the spot is very small. We hardly had much space for anything. We came for one night as a pass through so thankfully we didn’t need a whole lot. The grounds are very cramped overall and sadly the permanent neighbors were loud until 2am. There’s a bar and people were out all night. The bathrooms aren’t great and stalls are separated by plywood walls. The grounds were ok as far as mowed and free of trash and debris but the permanent spots for many looked run down, rusted and …
