Great camp sites with plenty of water access
Nice campground. Bring your levelers. And water spigots at a few locations around the park. No sewer connection but there is a dump station. Beautiful views of Oologah Lake. Ladies at the gate are so kind and personable and make you feel welcome. Cleanest bathrooms and showers of all the campgrounds we have ever been to. That is thanks to 2 very hard working young ladies named Keleigh and Cheyenne. Update: April 2026... Contract with garbage collector is new and it appears that Hawthorn Bluff is not a priority. All dumpsters are overflowing and just nasty. Ranger said they are calling the coll…
It is a campground. My favorite place to spend a summer day.
It’s beautiful here for sure but when you advertise showers and running water I would expect there to be at least a sink but no there was no running water, no shower, and only one bathroom was unlocked and there was no one to talk to at all.
