Gulf Shores / Pensacola West KOA Holiday

It is a older but nice park. 1/2 the spaces are packed together. The others have some space. Sadly when we first came in we could not slow down fast enough when we saw the entrance sign. So we went in through the exit. A tree branch hangs down into the drive there. We tore our awning canopy about a foot on it. There is a nice pool area, also if you have a boat there is a marina there. Grocery store (Publix and Walmart) are a 30 minute drive back over bridge into Pensacola. awesome experience ,been here a week, all the amenities are fabulous, all employees including the office, phone , 800 # are wonderful, I have nothing negative to say. I like it but then i'm new to this life still I have no complaints. nice cute store, the staff at office so helpful. laundry is available which I appreciated. my lot is wonderful no complaints. all the employees are super nice and no question is "dumb". one suggestion, shuttle to shopping for those of us with no vehicle, even for a payment I would gladly pay, I know it's a lot, also, garbage pick up. for me with mobility issues…

I stayed a this Koa for the month of April with my sister. When I walked into our cabin the floors were really sticky so I got a rag and washed them the water was completely black. Also the couple that stayed next to us went out and bought a mop and cleaned there floors because their socks were black on day one. When you pay this kind our money you expect better conditions. Also there were kids on Minnie bikes driving on the grounds. And car loads of people using the pool that weren’t Koa members.

Old KOA, was probably nice years ago. Kind of un kept and dingy now.

We were hear last year and enjoyed it but this year was so different we are so disgusted with everything they let the locals come in for $5 a day to swim in the pools also there are Minnie bikes going through the campsite and I really do not think the manager dous not care about our concerns because we have received different answers many times. We are not the only ones complaining other people have voiced the same things. I can't say enough about the others staff member because they are great. I will only hope things will change because it is a great area to visit. KOA's have rules for a…
