Greys River Resort RV Park

This is a decent overnight stopping place in Alpine, either before or after visiting Grand Teton National Park. The park is clean and the sites are level. We were one of the only RV's there in mid-October, as it was off season. The nice part about staying here is that you can get some food at the tavern on the property. Nothing fancy, but a decent hamburger and a cold beer is better than having to cook for myself. We stopped for one night in our way to Yellowstone and were totally satisfied with this place. Grounds were very clean. Bathrooms and laundry facilities were exceptionally clean. The gentleman who checked us in was super friendly. We walked to the tavern and had a very cold local beer and the Philly Cheese steak was one I'd the best I've had. If I ever make it back this way, I'd stop again.

After being caught in rain for two days at Wolf Creek Campground, I took someone’s suggestion to grab a shower at the “yellow caboose.” Upon pulling in, the office was unoccupied. No sign of when the owner/mgr would return but a number to call. Another patron called the number and a cell phone rang on the porch behind the bar. Ventured into the bar and someone pointed to Jim, who was sitting down for a meal and chatting it up at the bar. He gave the impression he couldn’t be bothered. I can't comment on the actual RV/Camping situation. We only ate at the Bar/Restaurant. Had a really nice chef's salad (plenty of veggie variety, meat, eggs and cheese) and possibly the best cheesecake I have every had--a generous portion of homemade huckleberry cheesecake at a reasonable price. Good iced tea too.

Our son had a HS soccer game in Star Valley, figured we'd take the camper and spend the weekend in Alpine. Wyo native, always thought Alpine was a cool little town, just never spent a ton of time there. Greys River RV park is a great little RV park. Simple and perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site had power, water, and ability to empty tanks; zero issues w/ any of it. Tavern onsite had great food, cold beer, and excellent service. RV park is close to excellent fishing as well. We'd definitely stay here again.
