Absolutely the Best Family Campground in Eastern NC! Green Acres Campground in Williamston, NC is hands down one of our favorite places to get away as a family. We visit around 10 times a year, and every visit is consistently excellent. From the moment you arrive, you feel how safe, welcoming, and family-oriented this campground truly is. LIGHTS!!!! I've been staying at Green Acres since 1983. It has always been my home away from home. The Greens are family. Now that they have retired, I welcome the new owners. Now, I don't want to hurt their business with this review, but something must be done about the Griswold's million-watt, commercial streetlights every 3 campsites!
