The campground was peaceful and quiet, small but still plenty of room to walk, kids ride bikes, and close'ish to the Buffalo. We drove to the Buffalo but prefer to be able to walk. Definitely interested in coming back with friends and looking into the cabins as well.
Serene tranquility to start and end each day of our stay, such a peaceful place to make home for a while when in the area. Grassy Road is our ABSOLUTE go to each time we float the Buffalo National River. Fantastic hosts, wonderful facilities, extremely convenient location too!
I have mixed feelings about this spot. My husband and I spent our first trip to Arkansas together this week and some things unfortunately did disappoint. First off, I want to say that the host was very accommodating and was always timely with answering any messages! He was very kind and when we asked to move our tent camping spot he immediately said yes and met our needs. That being said, our stay was not all what we thought it would be based off the rental description. This is a gem of a find! The RV slips are level, have a nice fire ring, and table. The hook ups are in good condition and the boathouse always has hot water and fairly good water pressure. The field meadow is full of lightning bugs at night and creates a nice morning view. There is a small cabin and glamping tent available to rent as well as primitive and electrical tent sites. The pasture view is beautiful. It was super quiet, even with 2 cabins rented and 3 RVs in the park. We loved camping at site 8! Jonathon was on site this weekend and was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again!
